Perhaps, we are all immigrants,

Trading one home for another...

First, we leave the womb for air,

Then, leave the suburbs for the cities,

Later, leave our homelands in search of better lives;

And in the end, leave the land for the sky...

But we all carry the heartbeats of where we were born.

And what is remained in the end,

Is the silence which screams

Of all the paths we have stepped on,

All the loves we have forgotten,

All the life we have lived,

All the wounds we have felt,

And all the traces we have left....
